Experience. Perspective. Approach.

I’ve spent most of my career working in and around youth sports — leading organizations, building programs, and working closely with athletes, parents, and coaches.

Over time, that work has expanded beyond the field. It’s led into conversations around identity, pressure, expectations, and how people actually grow — not just in sport, but in how they show up day to day.

About Me

MY APPROACH

My approach is shaped by experience on both sides — leading organizations and working directly with individuals.

I’ve seen how much impact structure, expectations, and environment can have.

I’ve also seen how often people are trying to operate within those environments without clear alignment around what matters or how they’re expected to show up.

The work focuses on creating that alignment — helping individuals and organizations operate with more clarity, consistency, and purpose over time.

Who I Work With

  • Adolescents/Young adults
Students and athletes who are capable but inconsistent, and still learning how to handle expectations, pressure, and responsibility

  • Parents
Mom's and Dad's wanting the best for their children, but find it difficult to navigate the growth process.

  • Men
Guys who feel stuck, off track, or unsure if how they’re showing up is actually working.

  • Anyone working or volunteering in the youth sports space
Coaches and leaders in youth sports environments who want to operate with more clarity and consistency in their role

Coaching is built around focused, one-on-one sessions, typically over a defined period of time.

Each session is centered on what’s currently happening — whether that’s a specific challenge, a recurring pattern, or a situation that needs to be worked through.

Between sessions, the focus shifts to applying what’s been discussed — testing ideas, adjusting responses, and building consistency over time.

The goal is not just insight, but follow-through.

Background

I’ve spent most of my career in and around youth sports — as a coach, a leader, and a parent.

Over more than 15 years leading a youth sports organization (Rogue Valley Timbers Soccer Club), I oversaw programming, staffing, and operations while working closely with athletes, parents, coaches, and leadership teams.

That work included scaling the organization, building systems, and navigating the day-to-day realities of running a mission-driven environment.

Prior to that, I held leadership roles in the for-profit sector, managing teams and operating in performance-driven environments where expectations and accountability were clear.

Across both settings, I saw the same thing show up repeatedly — how pressure, expectations, and environment shape how people think, behave, and perform.

Alongside that work, I’ve spent years coaching individuals and working closely with families, helping people better understand what drives them, where they get stuck, and how they show up when it matters.

I’ve recently completed formal coach training through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which helps inform the structure and approach of this work.
